Bosch — automotive electronics showroom
Lights and screens that follow the visitor in, starting from the corridor.
BOSCH Automotive Electronics built a new technology centre in Shanghai. Yangben Cloud supplied the complete lighting control, video remote control, transparent touch, object recognition and driving simulation systems for its new showroom.
In 2016 in Jinqiao, Shanghai, BOSCH Automotive Electronics opened a technology centre at its Shanghai plant. Yangben Cloud provided the full lighting control and interactive display systems, including:
Showroom highlight 1: a motion-sensing welcome corridor. Before visitors even enter, the corridor at the entrance surprises them. As they step in, the screens beside them light up in sequence and play a welcome video, while the lights overhead come on in turn to mark the route.
Inside: when visitors pass through the automatic doors, the showroom lighting comes on automatically.
The interactive system runs on one server, 14 client PCs, one multi-screen workstation, four monitors, six infrared transparent touch screens, three capacitive touch screens, one 5x3 seamless video wall and three curved video walls, working with a video matrix, gigabit switches and wireless access points.
At the client's request, the showroom had to feel technological. A phone or iPad H5 interface controls everything, switching between presentation and video modes and starting or stopping playback.
A single master switch turns the entire showroom's lighting, screens, computers and mechanical systems on or off, simplifying maintenance, cutting power costs and extending equipment life.
Showroom highlight 2: a 5x3 seamless video wall, remotely controlled, for welcome videos, corporate films and business presentations.
Showroom highlight 3: a touch table that recognises exhibits and switches to the matching content automatically:

Showroom highlight 4: a transparent touch display window. When idle, it shows a rotating product screensaver.
When a visitor touches it, the product hidden behind is revealed, and the screen shows the matching images and video.
Showroom highlight 5: a driving simulator. Visitors can drive a plug-in hybrid and feel the acceleration through the platform, learning how the accelerator, brake and speed relate, and how the hybrid system works.
A triple curved screen shows the road ahead, while a digital instrument panel displays the current drive mode and parameters.
